David Cruikshank is BNY Mellon’s Chairman of Asia Pacific and Chairman of the Asia Pacific Executive Committee.
As Chairman of Asia Pacific, Mr. Cruikshank directs and manages the execution of the company's overall business strategy for the region, which includes 16 offices in 12 countries.
Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Mr. Cruikshank was lead executive for the Corporates and Public Finance market segment responsible for strategically aligning solutions and services provided by BNY Mellon with the clients’ business needs in one of the company’s four key market segments.
Mr. Cruikshank had previously held the role of Chief Executive Officer, Treasury Services where he had set the strategic direction and led business execution for the company’s Global Payments, Trade Finance and Cash Management businesses.
Mr. Cruikshank joined BNY Mellon in 2003 after working within the Global Transaction Service organizations of Citibank and ABN AMRO Bank, where he held various positions, including European Head of Marketing, Sales and Service; Global Head of Solution Delivery (implementation of various Working Capital Management solutions); and Head of Client Service and Implementations for North and South America. Prior to his appointment in 2011 as CEO of Treasury Services, he served as the business’s Global Head of Sales and Relationship Management.
