* What specifications do I really need for my first computer system? * How do I maximize my IT investment? * I'm NOT a technology specialist, what kind of IT set-up will minimize the time I have to spend tinkering with my computer? * How do I plan for staff expansion, and from a home office to a company office and overseas? * What are the pros, cons and costs of storing my data on an external server instead of just on my own computer? * What are the 'must do' security precautions I need to know to keep my data safe?
The speakers will be providing handouts with regard to various tips and recommendations on standard packages based on the size of a business. Please come with your questions.
Our speakers are industry specialists who have experience working with entrepreneurs: * Paul Chung, Solutions Consultant at iBase, has over 10 years of experience helping entrepreneurs set up their IT infrastructure - from their first computer through to servicing technology needs related to the establishment of multiple business locations around the world. * Kenneth Tan, VP at PCCW Solutions, has over 20 years of IT experience and over 18 years in the sales and business development areas. Mr. Tan's major responsibilities are consulting, systems integration, and IT infrastructure services.

* All cancellations must be notified in writing at least two working days prior to the event, or six working days prior to the conference.
