Effective communication is the cornerstone of a supportive and productive work environment. Skilled communicators are adept at keeping people motivated and focused on achieving important business goals. A positive communication climate allows people to:

  • Discuss and develop plans to achieve personal and professional goals in a realistic manner
  • Give and receive regular feedback on performance

    During this 90-minutes overview session, we will share with you the overall objectives for the program and how it can help you to:
  • Understand the importance of interpersonal communication skills for achieving results, for gaining cooperation and commitment, and for building effective working relationships
  • Identify their interpersonal communication strengths and development needs
  • Create a supportive communication climate
  • Develop effective communication strategies
  • Apply four critical interpersonal communication skills

    * Once received, bookings are considered confirmed. No-shows will be charged.
    * We will not send confirmations or receipts for faxed bookings or bookings with checks. Only online credit card bookings will generate an automated confirmation via e-mail.
    Membership in AmCham is on an individual basis. We regret that non-members cannot attend at member price, even if it is to replace a member.
    All cancellations must be notified in writing at least two working days prior to the event, or six working days prior to a conference.
    When Typhoon 8 (or above) or Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted, all events will be cancelled.
