Esquel's CEO Looks at China Textiles' Future PDF Print E-mail
Attn: News / Business / China Editors

The Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Esquel Group is going to share his insights on China's textiles industry for the years ahead, in a presentation to the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong next Tuesday.
Dr. John Cheh, who plays an influential role in the Textile and Clothing Sector Committee of the China Association of Enterprise with Foreign Investment (CAEFI), will answer three key questions:

·      Is it going to be smooth sailing in the coming years or is it the calm before the storm?
·      How will Chinese textile players steer their business in response to the rising currency and costs?
·      How will the growing environmental and product safety concerns rock the boat?

With the new opportunities brought forth by the end of global quotas and the stability as a result of the bilateral agreements, it has been two relatively good years for China's textile industry.
