The American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong is proud to announce the 2008 AmCham Charitable Foundation U.S. Studies Scholarship. The Scholarship is available to a qualified secondary school graduate of Hong Kong to pursue studies at a U.S. university. 
2007 Scholarship Recipient Mr. Ray Fung of Li Po Chung United World College Award A one-time scholarship award of HK$16,000 for a secondary school graduate from Hong Kong to pursue undergraduate study at a U.S. university. Eligibility Requirements Students must fulfill ALL the following criteria to apply. - Permanent resident of Hong Kong
- Received at least 5 years of continuous education in a Hong Kong secondary school.
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in Secondary 6 or 7 of a Hong Kong secondary school for the year 2007-2008; and
- Successfully gained admission to an undergraduate degree program from a U.S. four-year college or university as a first-year student in the fall of 2008.
How to Apply The completed application form and supporting documents should be submitted together, in person or by mail, directly to the Institute of International Education at: AmCham Charitable Foundation U.S. Studies Scholarship Institute of International Education, Room 601, General Commercial Building, 156-164 Des Voeux Road Central, Hong Kong Application forms and detailed instructions can be obtained from the Institute of International Education's office. All application materials must be received by April 15, 2008 to receive full consideration. The scholarship recipient will be announced on the program website in June 2008.
