Maria
Chan

Maria CHAN, is the Vice President of
International Human Resources Management for the Business Unit Mobile
Display Systems (MDS) of Philips Electronics. Maria holds a Bachelor
of Science from Australia and has been practicing Human Resources
for approaching 20 years. Maria has been in her current role with
Philips since 2004 and is based in Hong Kong. Before joining Philips,
Maria was the VP of Regional HR with Arrow Asia Pac Ltd. At Arrow for
7 years, Maria managed the HR function throughout 11 countries in Asia
Pacific for this leading distributor of electronic components.
Prior to Arrow, Maria developed her HR career with other multinational
companies like WR Grace in industrial chemicals and Vipac in consultant
engineering.

Viveca
Chan
|
|
Viveca CHAN is Chairman and CEO of Grey
Global Group China, including Hong Kong. Viveca has more than 20
years of marketing communication experience. She joined Grey HK
when it was founded, and helped build Grey's China business from
the beginning. During her tenure, China/Hong Kong has become
Grey's largest operation in Asia. She pioneered a number of service
innovations in the market, including Grey Relationship Marketing
(GRM) - written up as a Harvard Case Study, and Grey Interactive -
which won the case study of the year award. She also plays an active
role in the industry, to name a few, she is the Deputy Director of China
Advertising Association, Chairman of HK4As and serves on the advisory
board of the HK Institute of Marketing and successful Marketing. Viveca
is one of the 17 global "Women Breaking Barriers", Top 100 Entrepreneurs
in China, Top Ten Advertising Executives and "The Most Successful Women
2004".

Douglas
Henck
|
|
Douglas HENCK is President, Sun Life Financial
Asia. In this capacity, he leads Sun Life Financial's development
in all Asian markets. Prior to joining Sun Life Financial, Mr. Henck
was Senior Vice President of the AIG Life Division of the American
International Group. Based in Hong Kong, he was responsible for
various strategic initiatives, such as merger & acquisition work and
new country entries, as well as certain business line responsibilities
and Asian country operations. Mr. Henck first joined Aetna in 1974
after graduating with a B.S. Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute in New York. He qualified as a Fellow of the Society of
Actuaries in 1978. He moved to Hong Kong in 1987, and established the
Asia Regional office of the US-based Aetna Inc. Mr. Henck is a Past
Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, having led
the organization during the historic 1997 calendar year. He also served
two terms as Chairman of the Asia Pacific Council of American Chambers
of Commerce from 1993 - 1995. Mr. Henck testified before the U.S. Senate
Foreign Relations Committee in 1996. He serves as Vice Chairman of the
Asian Corporate Governance Association.

Marcopoto

Stephen MARCOPOTO is President and Managing
Director of Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific, Inc. Turner Broadcasting
System, Inc (TBS), a Time Warner company, is a major producer of news and
entertainment product around the world and the leading provider of programming
for the basic cable industry. Based in Hong Kong, Mr. Marcopoto oversees all
programming, network development, advertising and distribution sales, marketing
and promotion for Turner Broadcasting and its networks and internet services,
including the CNN news group, Cartoon Network, Pogo, Boomerang, TCM, and CETV
in the Asia Pacific region. Previously, Mr. Marcopoto was president, Time Inc.
Asia. Still earlier, he was vice president and publisher of TIME Asia and managing
director of Fortune Asia. Mr. Marcopoto earned a BA from Seton Hall University
and arrived in Asia in 1981. He is currently the vice-chairman of the American
Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. He has also served as Chairman of the Society
of Publishers in Asia (SOPA). Today he serves as a board member of the Cable and
Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (CASBAA) and is on the Board of Governors
of the American Club in Hong Kong.

Don Robinson
|
|
Don ROBINSON is Group Managing Director for Hong Kong
Disneyland & an AmCham Governor. With more than three decades of Disney experience, Don Robinson is well equipped for his role as Walt Disney Company's executive vice president, for Hong Kong Disneyland. Mr. Robinson is responsible for the development and operation of Disney's first theme park in China. Mr. Robinson began his career in 1972 as an hourly employee at the Magic Kingdom, in Orlando Florida working as a dishwasher at the Liberty Tree Tavern. Over the course of his career with Disney, he has played a key role in theme park operations, hotel management and food and beverage services. Mr. Robinson was instrumental in the opening of 15 Resorts in Florida and California and six resorts at Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disneyland. Most notably, Mr. Robinson ran operations for the entire Walt Disney World Resort. Aside from his primary responsibilities, he was also contributory factor in leading and directing the Opening Task Force teams for several special projects such as Epcot and The Disneyland Resort-Grand Californian. Mr. Robinson received his B.S. Degree in Microbiology from the University of Central Florida.

Andy Xie
|
|
Dr Andy XIE is a Managing Director
and Head of Morgan Stanley's Asia/Pacific economics team.
He joined the firm in 1997 after two years with Macquarie
Bank in Singapore, where he was an associate director in
corporate finance. Andy also spent five years as an economist
with the World Bank, which he joined through the Young Professionals
Program.
He was responsible for the World Bank programs in industry
and finance in Indonesia and telecom and power programs
in other Asia/Pacific countries. Andy earned a PhD in economics
in 1990 and an MS in civil engineering in 1987 from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was ranked "No.
1 Economist from 2001 - 2004" by Institutional Investor,
"One of Ten New China Economic Leaders" by World
Economic Forum / Caijing Magazine / CCTV and "The Best
Economist in North East Asia Pacific" by Business week
in Seoul.
