Ronald Arculli, the chairman of the Hong Kong Exchange, will address an AmCham Leadership Luncheon audience on the subject of how China's economic growth will affect Hong Kong's financial markets. He will also discuss the growth of Hong Kong's markets over the past years and its future growth opportunities and challenges in light of the robust development of the Mainland's economy.
Mr Arculli has a long and distinguished record of public service as a former member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong and has served on many commissions and boards. Mr. Arculli serves on the Global Advisory Boards of the University of Colorado Denver's Institute of International Business and Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government. He also served on the board of governors of the London Business School.
Mr. Arculli, the senior partner of Arculli Fong & Ng, served as the chairman of the Hong Kong Jockey Club between 2002 and August 2006. He was called to the English and Hong Kong bars in 1961 and is a barrister and solicitor in Victoria, Australia. He joined the Sun Hung Kai Securities Group as group legal adviser in 1974, later heading its investment banking activities. He retired from the Woo Kwan Lee & Lo law firm in 2000 as managing partner. Mr. Arculli also serves on the boards of several major listed companies in Hong Kong. |
