Liz Ann Sonders directs Schwab's quantitative analysis and economic strategies as the Chief Investment Strategist for Charles Schwab & Co. She will present the latest financial market trends and share her outlook for the stock and bond markets over the next 6 to 12 months. She'll discuss the current environment's significance for investors and help you spot and take advantage of investment strategies to help you meet your own financial goals.
Ms. Sonders was named as one of SmartMoney's 30 most powerful people in investment in its November issue. She is a frequent speaker at money management seminars. Her ability to combine economics, government policy and market dynamics win her fans on Wall Street and make her a regular on CNBC and other market news shows.
As chair of Schwab's Investment Strategy Council, Ms. Sonders is responsible for investment strategy and policies from market analysis and tactical asset allocation to economic strategy focused primarily on the individual investor. Ms. Sonders has been among a small group of economists and strategists invited repeatedly to Washington to meet with President Bush and other cabinet members to advise on a stimulus package, the economy, and the stock market. In early 2005, Ms. Sonders was appointed to the President's Advisory Panel on Federal Tax Reform, whose final report is currently under review by the Senate Finance Committee. |
