Dear China Business Committee members,

Please join us as we welcome Mr. Victor Ng, Expo Coordinator of Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, to speak on Hong Kong's Participation in the Expo 2010 Shanghai China.


DETAILS:
The Shanghai Expo will be held in Shanghai from 1 May to 31 October 2010. It will be the largest in the history of exhibitions in China. Over 240 countries and international organisations have confirmed participation in the event, which is expected to attract about 70 million visitors. Mr Ng will share with members the programme and activities of Hong Kong's participation in the Expo and the current progress of preparations.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Victor Ng, the Expo Coordinator of Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. He will also be the Director of the Hong Kong Pavilion in the World Exposition 2010 Shanghai China. He is responsible for coordinating the implementation of various activities in connection with Hong Kong's participation in the Shanghai Expo and supervising the operation of the Hong Kong Pavilion. Mr. Ng is an experienced official and has worked in various bureaux and departments in the Government before taking up the current post.
