Corporate Responsibility Committee (CRC) aims to promote responsible business practices, facilitate information exchange, and support corporate engagement with the community. For the purposes of the committee, we define “corporate responsibility” broadly to encompass responsible operational practices (labor relations, environmental impact, responsible marketing and quality control, corporate governance, etc), as well as external initiatives, such as public-private partnerships, employee volunteering and philanthropy. The committee consists of Chamber members who volunteer time to organize briefings, events, and other activities for the broader membership. As corporate responsibility should be fully integrated with a company's operations, our efforts often overlap with other Chamber committees; we therefore seek to work closely with these committees to further raise awareness.
