To: All Members of Trade & Investment Committee
From: Richard Mallett, AmCham Trade & Investment Committee Chair
At our April meeting, we are delighted to welcome as our guest speaker Mr. Jake van der Kamp, to hear his views and thoughts on the way of the HK Government handles infrastructure spending and some of the reasons behind this.
Jake van der Kamp writes the daily Monitor column on Financial Affairs in the South China Morning Post. Originally from the Netherlands, he has lived in Hong Kong since 1979, where he has worked as an investment analyst and research director for several stockbroking companies and investment banks before becoming a columnist in 1998.
Jake's column can always be counted on to stimulate readers all over Hong Kong at breakfast. Come join us to hear Jake talk in person, over breakfast with fellow Trade & Investment committee members.
