2007 is set to be the year of dramatic growth for mobile entertainment: with data and more specifically games, music, TV and streaming video all taking off. With a decline in voice revenue, and after years of not meeting expectations, wireless carriers around the world have now found a new way to generate income. We will hear from leaders in the mobile entertainment industry on trends, players and services to look for and how companies are entering the mobile entertainment space from TV, movies and the Internet.
* Ringo Chan is Vice President, Wireless Development, Asia Pacific and Vice President, Greater China for Turner International Asia Pacific Ltd. (Turner), a Time Warner Company. Mr. Chan is responsible for overseeing the strategic development and operations of the mobile business in Asia Pacific region.
* Mike McCabe joined Electronic Arts in March 2004 and is currently its Director of Mobile in Asia. He is responsible for EA's mobile gaming business and sourcing of third party content throughout Asia Pacific.
* Mobile Entertainment magazine voted Stefan Rust, Director, Strategy and Business Development, Sun Microsystems, as one of the top 50 Global Mobile Entertainment Executives. His key roles have included corporate development as well as marketing and strategic planning for the mobile, Web 2.0, media and communication industries.
* John C. Tanner is the Global Technology Editor for Questex Asia Limited, whose publications include Charged, Telecom Asia, Wireless Asia, Enterprise Networks Asia and AsiaSatellite News.
