Dear Committee Members,
You are invited to our next meeting which will be held on Thursday, October 21 to welcome Dr. Philippe Guibert, Regional Medical Director, Consulting Services of International SOS who will speak on Travel Health: Advice to Road Warriors.
DETAILS
Business travel is increasing in range and frequency, with the need to seek new markets and lower production costs in developing parts of the world. Being an executive in Asia often means having the privilege of traveling extensively in the region and beyond. However, the risk profile of some destinations has changed over the years, as have evolved expectations of travelers; new exposures and re-emerging diseases, like dengue fever, put new support and advanced technologies at the same time. With some appropriate tips and some good awareness of health risks associated with traveling, international mobility can be both intense and safe. This presentation will highlight the key recent features regarding travel health risks, from strategies and trends to prevention measures and information tools.
ABOUT THE SPEAKERDr. Philippe Guibert is the Regional Medical Director, Consulting Services, at International SOS. He works with corporations and organisations to design and implement robust healthcare plans across their regional and global operations.
