A lack of trust and credibility can hurt a company’s bottom line. Actively working to build trust can help make companies more competitive. After a year of corporate, political and social unrest worldwide, this year’s trends in Asia Pacific will prove to be provocative and surprising. Has trust in industries and institutions in China been damaged? What industries in the region have seen the greatest erosion of trust and how will business-critical stakeholders respond?
Edelman’s Trust Barometer probes the attitudes of opinion shapers on the current state of trust in business, institutions and industries; the actions required to build trust; communications strategies; the role of CEOs; and the expectations of stakeholders regarding business and government. The Trust Barometer is derived from more than 4,500 interviews across 23 countries, and enables managers and PR executives to develop communications strategies based on quality research findings.
Please join Mr. Damian Coory, Managing Director of Edelman in Hong Kong and Taiwan, as he presents and discusses the key regional findings from Edelman’s 2011 Global Trust Barometer study and how this data can enable executives and public relations professionals in Asia Pacific develop more competitive communications strategies.
