- To the ground ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Dr. Kin Wong has over 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry, with over 10 years in the United States and over 20 years in Taiwan. Currently he is the president of A-D Technology (ADT) in Taiwan. A-D Technology specializes in digital technology in nuclear power plants, including plant simulator, plant computer system, control and instrumentation and information technology. ADT has on-going projects in all 4 nuclear power plants in Taiwan, including Nuclear #1, Nuclear #2 and Nuclear #3, that are in operation and Lungmen Nuclear Power Plant that is under construction. ADT is the supplier of the Lungmen Full Scope Simulator under subcontract with GE. The Lungmen Full Scope Simulator is the most advanced of its kind in the world. ADT is also performing verification and validation of digital systems for the Lungmen Digital Control and Information System.
Prior to becoming president of ADT, Dr. Wong worked in Quadrex Corporation for over 10 years in various management positions, including manager of utility applications engineering, manager of advanced core monitoring. Quadrex Corporation is a consulting company to the nuclear industry located in California, U.S.A.
