A look inside Beijing’s US$253 billion trade package for Trump

During his three-day visit to China, U.S. President Donald Trump signed a number of deals between Chinese and U.S. firms. Among the sectors involved in the key deals are energy, agriculture, aviation, finance, and telecoms.

Regarding finance, China Investment Corp and Goldman Sachs agreed to set up a joint fund to invest in U.S. firms which either have already or planned business operations in China.

Another agreement was signed between China's Silk Road Fund and General Electric. Both parties are to cooperate in investments under China’s “Belt and Road Initiative”.
