1. How does a membership application work?

Joining the AmCham community is easy and hassle free and can be done in just a few steps.

  1. Make an application by clicking "Become a member" on your preferred membership package Depending on your selection, a member of staff may get in contact to ask for additional documentation
  2. Once your application is approved, you will be invoiced by “Glue Up”. A member of staff may also get into contact with your invoice directly
  3. Your membership will be activated from the day we receive payment. When activated, an invitation will be sent from “Glue Up” for each of your members to complete setting up your account, including creating your login password

All done! You can login to Glueup at any time to edit your personal information, (un)subscribe to our mailing lists, view the Membership Directory and other information.

2. Do I need to be a US Citizen, or employed by an US based company to be a member of AmCham HK?

AmCham is an American chamber of international characteristics. It is not required that you hold a US citizenship or be a US based company to join AmCham. In fact, a large percentage of our Chamber are UK, local, European, or Chinese based. We welcome all nationalities to foster a community with a wide range of experiences.

3. Does a corporate membership mean everyone in my company is an AmCham Member?

Our standard Corporate membership provides 5 memberships within your company.

Leadership Forum membership further expands your options by giving you unlimited memberships. 

4. Can I transfer my membership to another person?

Yes, contact us at membership@amcham.org.hk to inquire about a transfer. Limitations may be apply depending on your membership category, and a processing fee of HKD1,000 may be applied. 

5. I’ve forgotten my Glueup password or cannot gain access to my Glueup profile?

Reset your password on the AmCham website here. Please ensure you enter the same email address that is associated with your Glue Up account. If you have forgotten which email is associated with your account/membership, please reach us at membership@amcham.org.hk.
 

6. What do I need to register for an AmCham Event?

Register for a free Glue Up account here.

Simply head over to the Events Calendar, choose your event, then ticket type, and enter your information. Some events or ticket types are for AmCham members-only.

If you are an AmCham member, your membership will be tied to a specific account based on your email provided during your membership application. In order to receive members-only access or discounted tickets, please make sure you register with the account/email that is associated with your membership. If you need to check your account or membership status please, contact us at membership@amcham.org.hk.

7. Does AmCham accept bank transfer payments?

Yes! For membership payments, bank transfers can be made to our bank account. Please quote your membership invoice number in remarks.
