Alex Yip

Alex is the Chief Executive Officer of Lockton Companies (Hong Kong) Limited and is responsible for its offices and operations in the Greater China region. Apart from his career in Lockton, he had worked in JLT (now Marsh) for 24 years in various roles in Hong Kong, Macau and China. Alex is graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1985 and begin his career in the insurance industry joining an international insurance company as a trainee.

During the past 36 years in the insurance markets, he had served Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, Taiwan, ASEAN and Central Asian and clients serving in the industry and the ‘One Belt One Road’ initiative. Alex has developed a great deal of experience in Large Corporate and Specialty segments, particularly Casualty and Property, Liability, Construction, Power and Energy.

Alex holds a Master Degree in Business Administration as well as being a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, a Chartered Insurance Broker and being awarded the CPCU designation.
